I’m Randi Leigh Scherwin, the creative behind WabiSabi Pattern Studio.

WabiSabi Pattern Studio is rooted in the beauty of the imperfect, the layered, and the artfully unexpected. After many years working in graphic design and branding, I’ve come to love the place where structure softens and intuition takes over: loose brushstrokes, imperfect pen lines, painterly textures, and hand-drawn details that give a design its soul.

My patterns are inspired by the beauty woven into everyday life: a walk through the park, flowers in the garden, meaningful travels, collected interiors, vintage details, and the joyful rhythm of raising two boys and a very loved dog. I’m drawn to work that feels warm, expressive, and a little lived-in, designs that bring character to a wall, softness to a textile, or a quiet moment of beauty to the home.

With more than 26 years of experience in graphic design and branding, I bring a thoughtful eye for composition, color, and storytelling to every collection. My goal is always the same: to design patterns that feel artful, layered, and full of quiet personality.

Originally from New York, I’ve called metro Atlanta home for the past 18 years. Outside the studio, I’m a wife, proud mom to two energetic boys, and dog mom to one sweet pup. Travel, nature, dogs, yoga, and art continue to fuel my creativity and remind me to notice beauty in the everyday.
